Lookbook
This photo was taken 1 1/2 years ago but it's the best most professional photo I have right now so I chose it for my first lookbook 'look'. I will start taking my lookbooking more 'seriously' and get my boyfriend to take some photos when we have time so that I can upload some recent looks. Just for fun of course!
Atomizers!
I've been meaning to buy a couple of atomizers for absolutely ages but kept forgetting. I always like to have perfume with me to top up during the day but hate lugging around a heavy bottle that you also run the risk of breaking in your bag. My favourite perfumes at the moment are Dior, Forever and Ever, and Gucci, Guilty. Forever and Ever only comes in 100ml size which pushed me to buy an atomizer as that's definitely too big and heavy to carry around in my bag! I got them both on Amazon for around £4/5 each. The damask one is slightly too small in my opinion as it didn't fit many sprays in but came with a funnel which makes it quick and easy to top up when you run out.

Its friiiiday!
Our Swedish friend is over and he is a dog lover like us. Dexters having a nice little nap on him while Murphy settles for the floor.
Then we went to Revolution for drinks! I was the only girl but I enjoy being one of the lads and we've all been friends for ages so I don't feel like I'm intruding either :)
Me & Greg
Boys will be boys, cheering Proctor on in an arm wrestle!
Chilling, my feet hurt!
We then went to our local Indian for a huuge friday pig out!
Greg and James
Timmy and me. We look like a couple! Filling in for Elin while she's in Australia haha. Good food, good friends.

I wore Steve Madden suede wedges, ASOS velvet panel leggings, ASOS brown cut-out shoulder top, non branded necklace from New York and my trusty Barry M red lipstick!
Starbucks obsessed!
I love coffee and have spent a shocking 4 evenings this week in starbucks! Well sunday was a flying visit but it still counts. I had a vanilla latte, x2 caramel lattes, and a gingerbread latte which i was pretty pleased about as its usually only a christmas drink. I drink even more starbucks when im in america so im extremely excited for my holiday to LA in april to get my cinnemon latte fix!
Friday night i met up with greg, his mum and my mum to look at a furniture sale and then have coffee before i departed for Red Hot! Even though the food isn't fantastic, I pigged out...
Saturday me, my sister, brother and mum went for a family catch-up starbucks.
Me and mum
Sunday greg and I enjoyed a starbucks before enjoying my mum's delicioua roast.
And then on Tuesday evening I took my friend from work for a birthday coffee and natter! As always we ended up talking forever and left a little later than we should have done! We went off to Nandos with a group of people from work for our friend Laura's leaving do. All in all I've consumed too many calories from these meals and sugary drinks! But never mind, I'm going to body pump in the morning! :)

Cross fit, the new boot camp
Today we had meetings with Reebok UK in Manchester, and afterwards they put us up to a cross fit session. For those of you who don't know what Cross Fit is (I had only heard of it before I did my research) its basically a brand and way of exercise which claims to 'forge elite fitness' using circuit training and body-weight training methods.
So, so many people go to the gym 2, 3, 4 or even more times a week but don't push themselves enough to get results that they could be achieving from shorter, more intense workouts. I sound like I'm reeling off something I've been told today, but when you think about it and use your common sense its so true, and I have had first hand experience of this so can vouch for this.
I'm going on holiday in a few weeks and have decided to get serious about getting in shape for it. I used to go to the gym a couple of times a week and use the cardio machines without a real time or distance aim, just doing a general workout to work up a bit of a sweat. I didn't notice any change in myself, but I have now been going to gym classes 3 times a week for 3 weeks and have noticed toning already. I now fit into trousers I couldn't zip up a couple of months ago with ease, and need to sell a pair of chinos I bought in autumn because they're now too baggy even with a belt! But I haven't lost weight on the scales, so this means I have gained muscle because as we all know muscle weighs more than fat. Result! I've been doing body pump, boxercise, washboard abs and body step, which I found all a challenge, especially body pump - I was aching for 4 days after my first session!! I find those classes a good mix of cardio and toning which is perfect for me.
So my point in all this is that I highly recommend Cross Fit and totally believe it's claim to get you fit in less time than you think possible, using intense sessions to push your fitness boundaries. This is exactly what the gym classes do for me - for an hour at a time I am pushed along with the help of a fitness trainer, loud music, and a class of mainly women. The hour goes by much quicker than it does on my own in the main gym, and I actually enjoy it once I'm there! I feel achy the day afterwards which I never do at the gym on the cardio machines, and I've seen results I've never seen before! I am sad to say but my boyfriend was right, if you put your mind to it, eat well and work hard a couple of times a week it makes a difference quickly! I can't recommend classes/group workouts more! Here are a couple of photos from today:
